Before I lost my vision last year, I was lucky enough to meet Scott Snyder. He was signing for fans at my local comic book store during Christmas 2011. He was a great guy and you could tell that he really enjoyed what he was doing. Lucky for me what he was doing was writing Batman. He was the mastermind behind The Court Of Owls which took Batman in a direction nobody had taken him before.
